Edge of Darkness

In the role playing game (RPG) Edge of Darkness, Players take on the roles of ‘the Fallen’: those awakened to face the true supernatural horrors of our world.

Their mission: to hunt out the minions of darkness wherever they can, to fight the eternal war, to stem the rising tide – to stand between the hordes of evil monsters and an unsuspecting mankind.

Awakened by the Grigori, trained and organised by them, gathered together in to teams, the Fallen go about their daily business of fighting a relentless war.

Each of the Fallen is awakened to one of the Five Choirs, each has a part to play within their team: each knows that the only way to fight and survive is with their comrades.

The minions of darkness are everywhere.

And yet the war remains hidden from the ordinary folk.

In truth, the Fallen would be treated with the same fear, suspicion and hostility as would the servants of darkness should they be discovered.

Most people simply fear what they do not know.

And so the war rages on in secret, fought over a world that can never know the truth.

The Fallen have made a choice. Driven by their awakening, by their desire to confront the darkness. They have chosen to fight back.

Now, you have a choice: you can fight with them

or you can live on in ignorance…

until you are taken by the darkness

that would consume us all.

Edge of Darkness is a role playing game of hunting dark abominations and weirdness set in a shadowy world of uncertain reality, morality and horror. (It’s dark, slightly twisted and can be somewhat on the disturbing side – it is therefore suggested for mature minded gamers only.)
