Team Renegade

Team Renegade is an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) for tabletop RPG players. The game plays as a type of ARG called a Collaborative Production Game (CPG). CPGs are all about taking on real world and gameplay challenges involving collaboration, production and personal goals.

In Team Renegade you play the role of an adventurer struggling to become an elite freedom fighter known as a Renegade. The gameplay switches between ‘real world’ challenges and 'in-game' challenges: 

1. Real world challenges are carried-out by you the player.
2. In-game challenges are carried-out by your RPG (roleplaying game) or adventure game avatars/ Player Characters (PCs).

The kinds of productions/ collaborations resulting from playing Team Renegade can include:

1. Mapping your plans and achievements as a RPG player or GM.
2. Forming new game groups.
3. Playing different games in different ways.
4. Breaking down the boundaries between different games.
5. Making friends.
6. Designing gameplay, games and game accessories.
7. Displaying artwork.
8. Running events at games and Cons.
9. Starting businesses.
