| Toys for the Sandbox 56: Moonshield Falls Regular price: $1.99 Bundle price: $1.49
|
Hold on! Vision adjustment! Moonshield Falls is a nice piece of real estate, but training an army here? Those Rebirth of Shiel people just don’t get it. Moonshield Falls is where it all began! The Sun and the Moon duked it out for control of the world right here where the falls are now and, at the same time, in the most inadvertent of fashions, left their progeny, Shamu Nanna, behind. Shamu Nanna’s a little hard to describe as he’s a hybrid of metal and tendrils and vines. The God Slayer did a number on him too with an extra dose of super sentience. But you’ll recognize him when you see him. He’ll be the one teaching the teachers. For you, personally? The big thing about Shamu Nanna is that he’s his own source of divine magic, and if you c...

Musicians make good spies. They travel. They hobnob with the nobility and they’ve got minds trained to read code. Everyone thinks the Grand Conservatory in the Elf King’s old kingdom is just a beautiful music school, but unbeknownst to most, the school supports itself selling information. Sife’s an undercover cop at the school trying to pass as one of the kids. She came looking for information about Justine Belidnine from #55 who Sife thinks stole her king’s jewels. But now Sife’s distracted. She’s not as young as she hopes she looks and the music school is far more complicated than she ever dreamed. Besides, she loves that parasitic instrument that makes her sound so great. So Sife’s on a tightrope. She’s dancing between a plague of...

| Toys for the Sandbox 58: The Mouth of Moonshield Canyon Regular price: $1.99 Bundle price: $1.49

Toys for the Sandbox is not a module, it is not a campaign setting, instead it is a framework for GMs to use to reinforce their own imaginations. Sometimes players zig when you expect them to zag, other times they take your plot point into a back alley and leave it penniless and bleeding. Each week we present a new location with a map and some flavor text. In addition we add 4 NPCs with a bit of history and a few simple thoughts on how to stat them for whatever game you are playing. There are also 6 plot hooks each with 3 ways to twist them. Added to that there is usually a table or two filled with rumors and encounters.
Great for use with Legends of Anglerre, Strands of Fate, Dungeon World, Risus: The Anything R...

| Toys for the Sandbox 60: The Temple of the Dead God Regular price: $1.99 Bundle price: $1.49

If you’re not an adventurer, don’t even try this. But, yes, this is the entrance, this is the door. Take the rope at the top of the canyon – it’ll drop you straight down to the temple of the dead god – some say a god outside of time. No matter. The temple’s outside time too, but trust the rope. It’ll make the trip. Once you get to the temple you’ll see some toys pieces you’ve met before slotting into place. The Old Fool and the Elf King are here, and some cloistered undead too, all watched over by Velistina, a friend of Edward Fulton, the captain of the Astral Star. She’s watching for shenanigans the Godslayer might pull trying to escape from Pirate Island. Don’t be fooled. He’ll use this door if he...
